Development Funding Programme 2021

“Dear chess friends,

On behalf of FIDE, I am pleased to announce the resumption of its development funding programme for 2021 effective March 1, 2021.

As discussed in the General Assembly in December, the Development fund is budgeted at EUR 1 Million for 2021.

We thank all the federations, continents and associations who have taken advantage of the funding in 2020 and have provided your reports on activities as per the signed agreement with your respective federation. Federations are also reminded to settle reporting obligations and review their financial status to ensure they are able to access available funding.

All organisations that request funding are reminded to review the  funding application requirements on the PDC’s website:
